Citizens Not Politicians

Issue 1

Issue 1, the Citizens Not Politicians Amendment will: - Create the 15-member Ohio Citizens Redistricting Commission made up of Democratic, Republican, and Independent citizens who broadly represent the different geographic areas and demographics of the state. - Ban current or former politicians, political party officials and lobbyists from sitting on the Commission. - Require fair and impartial districts by making it unconstitutional to draw voting districts that discriminate against or favor any political party or individual politician. - Require the commission to operate under an open and independent process.

Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) Levy to support LinkUS Initiative

Issue 23

Central Ohio is one of the fastest growing regions in the country, on track to reach 3.15 million residents by 2050. That’s nearly a million more people over the next 25 years. To address this growth, COTA is modernizing and expanding our transportation system through LinkUS. This transportation and growth plan — collaboratively created with the City of Columbus, the Franklin County Board of Commissioners, the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) and the Columbus Partnership —
will expand COTA transit service and make historic investments into sidewalks, bikeways and trails throughout the region to create more walkable, connected communities and increase opportunity for all.

Blendon Township Electric Aggregation

Issue 23

Energy aggregation is an important step for communities seeking to secure clean and affordable energy for all. The OEC Action Fund is proud to endorse Issue 23 for Blendon Township Electric Aggregation!
